For teams doing this without a marketing hire

Email marketing is three full-time jobs.

Leadger does all three of them. Weigh it against a hire, not against another tool in your stack.

  • Finds the list — companies that match your ICP, and the right person at each one.
  • Builds the templates — designed from one sentence, in your own brand.
  • Writes and sends the newsletter — every week, from your own domain, with opens and clicks coming back.

Twenty minutes. We'll run it on your website while you watch.

How it works

One afternoon to set up. Minutes a week after that.

Four steps. The first three you only do once. After that the job is the fourth one — deciding what goes out and when — and nobody has to become an expert in anything.

  1. 01

    Give it your website

Leadger reads your site and writes down what you sell, who you sell it to, and how you talk about it. Read it back and fix whatever it got wrong.

  2. 02

    Define your target customers

Which industries, what size of company, which countries, which job titles. Leadger drafts it from your profile, so you are correcting a proposal rather than filling in a blank form. Then it goes and searches.

  3. 03

    Describe an email

One sentence — a weekly newsletter, a product update, an offer — and you get a designed template back. Use it once, or use it every week for the next two years.

  4. 04

    Pick a date

Put the campaign on a calendar, choose the list, and it goes. Opens, clicks and bounces come back to the dashboard on their own.

What it does

What you would otherwise be hiring for.

Somebody to build the list. Somebody to design what goes out. Somebody to write the newsletter and get it sent every week without it landing in spam. Here is what each of those actually involves.

Lists

It goes and finds the companies.

Once you've agreed on the audience, Leadger searches for businesses that fit it and finds the people at them in the roles you asked for. Everything it turns up waits for you to look at it. No address joins a list because software decided it was a good match. Done by hand this is somebody's whole week, every week, forever.

  • Job titles get sorted by what they actually mean. Ask for a CEO and you'll get the daglig leder and the Managing Director too.
  • Filter by role, country or language. Keep any filter as a named list.
  • Every contact keeps a link back to the company it came from, so you can check why it's there.
Templates

Write a sentence, get an email back.

A template is the shape of an email: the layout, the tone, your logo, your colours. The words and the pictures change every time you send it. Your newsletter is one template you build in October and still send in March, which is the difference between a designer on retainer and a designer once.

  • You can edit all of it afterwards, down to the HTML. Nothing is locked.
  • Preview it the way it lands — full width, and on a phone.
  • It picks your logo and brand colours off your own site. You don't type in hex codes.
Campaigns

Everything you're sending, on a calendar.

The question is always the same one: what's going out, who gets it, and when. Month view for the next few weeks. Year view for when somebody asks what the plan is. Setting up a week's send is a couple of minutes, which is the whole point.

  • A campaign keeps its list, its template and its date together.
  • The year grid makes it obvious when you've gone quiet for six weeks.
  • Delivered, opened, clicked, bounced — all of it comes back to the dashboard.
Deliverability

It sends from your domain, set up properly.

Mail from a shared sending address goes to spam and nobody tells you. Leadger works out the DNS records for your own domain, checks them for you, and won't let you send until they pass.

  • DKIM, SPF and DMARC, written out for you. You paste them into your DNS once.
  • Sending runs on Amazon SES. Bounces and complaints get recorded against the contact.
  • An unsubscribe applies to your whole account, not just the list it came from.
Questions

The ones we get asked first.

Who is this for?

Anyone doing email marketing without the headcount to do it properly. Weigh it against hiring rather than against other software. Someone has to find the companies that match your ICP and dig out the right person at each one — that's a full-time job. Designing the templates is a second one. Writing and sending something every week is a third. Leadger does all three, and it fits best if you sell to other businesses, because the list building goes looking for companies and the people who work at them.

I sell to consumers, not companies. Is that a problem?

Only for one feature, and we'd rather tell you now than have you find out in week two. Leadger builds lists by finding companies and the people inside them. It can't go and find you individual consumers, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Bring your own list and the rest is untouched: the templates, the calendar, sending from your own domain, the numbers coming back afterwards.

Where do the contacts come from?

Leadger searches public company information for businesses that match the audience you approved, then finds the people at them in the roles you asked for. You see everything it found before any of it becomes a list.

Do I need my own domain?

To send, yes. Leadger works out the DKIM, SPF and DMARC records for it and keeps checking until they pass. You paste them into your DNS once and then forget about it.

Can I change what the AI writes?

All of it. What comes back is a first draft you can rewrite, restyle, or open as source and edit by hand. Nothing sends until you say it can.

What happens when someone unsubscribes?

They're out, everywhere. Not just off the list that email went to. Bounces and spam complaints are recorded against the contact as well, so you stop writing to addresses that don't want to hear from you.

What does it cost?

It depends on two things. How big you are and how much you send, and whether you want all of it or only part of it. Plenty of people already have a list and just need the drafting, the calendar and the sending — that costs less than showing up with nothing and having Leadger go out and build the list as well. Book twenty minutes and we'll put a number on it.

Come and see it run on your own website.

Book twenty minutes. We'll put your site in, look at the audience that comes back and the email it writes, and you can judge it on that instead of on this page. Then work out what those three jobs are costing you now. If it isn't a fit we'll say so.
